Sorry everyone, since my last post in March I’ve been extremely busy. With what seems like tons of new rules & training procedures and required training by the company & FAA. I am finally done! I can breath and see the light. I will be posting new blogs this week. Thanks, for being patient!

I remember I was called out on a private flight and the client was extremely nice and very unassuming. When I took his meal request for the next day all he wanted me to get him was bar food. You know bar appetizers. This episode of Unique eats highlights this growing and unique trend of putting a spin on traditional bar foods.
Can you figure out where I am? Just guess.

“No Guts, No Glory“
I just could not resist taking this picture at Schiphol airport yesterday. I was getting out of the limo service and saw this beagle sitting in his specially made motorcycle seat. But when I got a closer look at him I noticed he had goggles and a doggie jumper. He was ready to keep on going!

I finally landed a long layover in Los Angeles yesterday. My brother in-law picked me last night and we caught up on what was happening. This morning I woke up bright and early to see what was around the hotel. I must say I have never been to downtown LA and was impressed on how clean the downtown area is.
I stopped into Bruno’s cafe where had a hot chocolate and bagel and planned my morning. While walking around I stumbled upon a Starbucks commercial being made. After standing around and not being noticed to be picked as an extra I went to go throw my cup away and discovered my cup of hot chocolate was going to be in good company right next to a discarded Starbucks cup.

My mother in-law purchased something for us for christmas that is extremely useful, so simple, everyone needs one if they have a car, and it’s inexpensive. She purchased us a digital talking tire gauge! I don’t have to try and figure out the right tire pressure using the old fashion tire gauges anymore. We love this little guy.
Thank you, mother in-law!!

When snow falls in Amsterdam just a little bit it slows everything down and I mean everything! A 20 minute motor coach service to the airport took over 2 1/2 hours. When we arrived flights were delayed and cancelled. The airport only has 3 or 4 deicing trucks to service the entire airport.
You just have to love Carol Burnett. Her nutty crew can always put a smile on your face even in a comedy spin of Airplane.
